Finance Business Partner (Technology)

What you will do

• Partner with senior Technology leaders, including Divisional Directors, to provide financial guidance and support decision-making.
• Review Technology Development expenditure and strengthen cost control across Finance and Technology teams.
• Support twice-yearly budgeting and planning, including the preparation of budgets and forecasts.
• Deliver commercial analysis for contract renewals, vendor consolidation, licence optimisation, volume consumption and new investment decisions.
• Track end-to-end project costs, compare actual expenditure with expectations, and consolidate Cash, Revenue and CAPEX reporting.
• Improve reporting through Power BI, planning systems and automation, reducing manual work and enabling self-service.

Requirements

• Qualified accountant, such as ACCA or CIMA.
• Strong Excel skills and high IT literacy.
• Excellent analytical skills and the ability to interpret large volumes of financial and operational data.
• Strong commercial awareness and a logical, structured approach to problem-solving.
• Clear communication skills, with the ability to explain financial information to non-finance stakeholders.
• Ability to build relationships with and influence senior stakeholders.
