Simulation Systems Project Manager (A400M)

Location: Getafe Area, Madrid, Spain; hybrid working model when possible, with international travel required.

What you will do

• Define and execute the future A400M Training Simulation services strategy from an Operator Readiness perspective.
• Integrate the Airbus Common Synthetic Environment with the operational fleet and training capabilities.
• Lead complex commercial bids and assess the impact of new training capability offers for A400M export campaigns.
• Manage the design, development, deployment, planning, risks, and opportunities of Training Aids projects.
• Manage suppliers and contracts covering Full Flight Simulators, Cargo Hold Trainers, Load Master Work Station Trainers, and Cockpit Maintenance Operations Simulators.
• Interface with customer teams and represent Airbus in OCCAR training coordination meetings and program reviews.

Requirements

• Degree in Aeronautical, Systems, or Industrial Engineering; a master’s degree is an advantage.
• At least 7 years of professional experience in simulation as a Systems Engineer, Chief Engineer, or Technical Project Manager.
• Experience with the A400M program and strong knowledge of Training Services and Synthetic Environments.
• Experience with Full Flight Simulators, Cargo Hold Trainers, Task Trainers, and computer-based training.
• Strong project management skills and the ability to work independently in international environments.
• Negotiation-level English is required; Spanish is highly desirable.

Nice to have

• PMP certification.
• Knowledge of MRTT, Eurofighter, SIRTAP, or LTA programs.
• Experience with OCCAR customer interfaces.
