Electrical Engineer (ASU)

Location: Nanjing, Jiangsu, China; onsite. Full-time role with standard business hours and flexibility for global coordination, project peaks, critical milestones, and reporting. Travel: 0–10% domestic or international travel, with possible short- or long-term site assignments.

What you will do

• Lead and supervise electrical engineering activities for global Air Separation Unit projects.
• Prepare, review, and approve single-line diagrams, schematics, load lists, protection studies, and cable schedules.
• Provide technical expertise in MV/LV distribution, grounding, protection coordination, and hazardous area design.
• Coordinate electrical engineering with mechanical, piping, PACO, civil/structural, and process disciplines.
• Support procurement through technical bid evaluations and vendor document reviews.
• Provide engineering support during construction, energization, commissioning, start-up, design reviews, and constructability assessments.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
• 5–10 years of electrical engineering experience, preferably in ASU or process industries.
• Experience supervising engineers and designers in project execution environments.
• Strong knowledge of MV/LV systems, grounding, protection coordination, hazardous area design, and IEC, IEEE, NFPA, and IS codes.
• Strong communication and multidisciplinary collaboration skills.
• Compliance with hirify.global safety principles and participation in HAZID, HAZOP, electrical safety reviews, and engineering audits.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Experience with global EPC/EPCM execution structures.
• Proficiency with ETAP, SKM, digital engineering, or 3D model review tools.
• Chartered Engineer, Professional Engineer, or equivalent certification.
