Business Development Executive - IT Cost Management & Optimization (Benelux)

Location: Amsterdam, Netherlands; hybrid work arrangement. A valid EU working visa and professional-level English and Dutch are required.

What you will do

• Lead discovery and qualification to understand customer objectives, constraints, stakeholders, timelines, and opportunity viability.
• Define scopes, assumptions, dependencies, risks, delivery approaches, estimates, proposals, pricing inputs, and statements of work.
• Partner with Sales and Delivery teams from early opportunity shaping through proposal handover.
• Advise customers on IT Asset Management, FinOps, software sourcing, licensing, and software and cloud cost optimization.
• Create and maintain reusable discovery questions, workshop agendas, proposal templates, and standard deliverables.
• Monitor market trends, competitor offerings, and customer insights while identifying cross-sell and upsell opportunities.

Requirements

• Deep knowledge of IT Asset Management principles, including asset lifecycle management, inventory, governance, compliance, risk, and optimization.
• Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, cloud services, ITSM, CMDB integrations, and inventory and usage data.
• Experience with ITAM discovery and inventory tools such as ServiceNow, Xensam, Flexera, and Snow.
• Expertise in software license management, licensing models, Microsoft licensing, compliance, and audit support.
• Strong understanding of FinOps, budgeting, forecasting, TCO, ROI, NPV, IRR, and tools such as CloudHealth, Cloudability, and Azure Cost Management.
• Professional-level English and Dutch, plus a valid EU working visa, are required.
