Systems Engineer (Government)

Location: Bellevue, Nebraska, at the customer's site with office presence required a minimum of 5 days per week. No relocation is offered.

Salary: $86,800–$145,000 per year.

What you will do

• Align Department of Defense and industry capability architectures with USSTRATCOM's Enterprise Architecture using digital mission engineering techniques.
• Provide TDL support for system integration and operational engineering efforts.
• Design, build, configure, test, and maintain complex infrastructure, operating systems, application software, and system management tools.
• Develop system architectures and perform logic design, I/O design, model formulation, computer architecture analysis, and digital systems engineering.
• Implement, manage, and optimize CI/CD pipeline tools and automation capabilities.
• Decompose requirements, develop technical solutions, and maintain engineering documentation, standards, processes, and procedures.

Requirements

• TS/SCI clearance required.
• Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a relevant STEM field.
• 10+ years of experience in systems engineering, systems architecture, digital engineering, or related technical disciplines.
• Experience with complex infrastructure and computer systems, operating systems, application software, system management tools, and systems integration.
• Experience with CI/CD pipeline implementation, administration, or enhancement; engineering documentation; and requirements decomposition.
• Working knowledge of MBSE and modeling tools such as Cameo Systems Modeler or equivalent. ITIL 4 certification is required within 9 months, and a DoD 8140-compliant certification is required within 6 months of hire.

Nice to have

• Experience with SysML, UAF, OCSMP, or INCOSE training or certifications.
• Enterprise IT expertise and experience supporting DoD, USSTRATCOM, or defense-related enterprise architecture environments.
• Intermediate or Advanced DoD 8140 certifications such as CSSLP, FITSP-D, GCLD, GCSA, GISF, GSEC, or SSCP.
