What you will do

  • Define system-level electrical interconnect architecture, including harnesses, cables, connectors, pinouts, power distribution, grounding, shielding, and routing.
  • Own subsystem communication architecture and protocols across controllers, motion systems, cameras, illumination, and sensors.
  • Derive requirements, create interface control documents, and collaborate with electrical, software, mechanical, supplier, manufacturing, and service teams.
  • Plan and execute prototype acceptance, qualification, design-of-experiments, and system validation activities.
  • Develop error, noise, signal-integrity, power-integrity, and timing budgets while identifying and mitigating reliability risks.
  • Troubleshoot system-level electrical, communication, and hardware/software integration issues and mentor junior engineers.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s, master’s, or doctoral degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Physics, or a related field.
