3D Modeller / Mechanical Drafter (Autodesk Inventor)

Location: Remote from Manila, Philippines; working hours and holidays follow New Zealand schedules.

Salary: PHP 80,000–95,000 per month

New Zealand manufacturer of agricultural machinery, including farm trailers, bale feeders, cultivation equipment, rollers, mowers, and specialized machinery.

What you will do

• Create accurate 3D models of agricultural machinery, components, and assemblies in Autodesk Inventor.
• Produce and update 2D manufacturing, fabrication, and detail drawings based on existing designs.
• Modify models and drawings according to engineering instructions and maintain revision accuracy.
• Manage models, drawings, revisions, and documentation in Autodesk Vault.
• Discuss technical details, changes, and priorities with the New Zealand engineering team through regular video calls.

Requirements

• Immediate professional proficiency in Autodesk Inventor with experience creating 3D models and 2D manufacturing drawings.
• Strong practical drafting and CAD skills, with a portfolio of relevant work.
• Confident spoken and written English for technical communication.
• High attention to detail, dimensional accuracy, and ability to interpret measurements, drawings, and technical instructions.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple revisions, and follow engineering direction.
• A mechanical engineering degree or formal accreditation is not required.

Nice to have

• Experience with Autodesk Vault and document version control.
• Background in agricultural machinery, trailers, mechanical equipment, heavy fabrication, or manufacturing.
• Experience drafting sheet metal and fabricated steel components.
• Understanding of welding, bending, cutting, and assembly processes.
• Previous remote work with Australian or New Zealand engineering or manufacturing businesses.
