AI Agent Engineer (AI)

Location: On-site in San Francisco, New York, or Toronto

Salary: $180K–$390K plus equity

What you will do

• Design, build, and deliver highly performant, reliable production AI agents that support critical customer interactions and business revenue.
• Own the Agent Development Life Cycle from initial pilots through deployment, tuning, and continuous iteration.
• Partner directly with enterprise leaders and startups to understand business challenges and develop practical AI agent solutions.
• Build industry-specific agent frameworks and improve hirify.global's core platform through customer-driven prototypes, tools, and features.
• Experiment with voice models and integrate them into scalable, enterprise-grade systems.

Requirements

• Professional fluency in Spanish and English
• Experience building and scaling end-to-end production systems.
• Experience building or deploying AI or LLM systems in production.
• Strong technical problem-solving skills in fast-changing, ambiguous environments, with a high-agency builder mindset.
• Comfort working directly with customers and communicating clearly with technical and non-technical audiences.
• Experience with React, TypeScript, or Go is useful for the role.

Nice to have

• Founder or founding engineer experience.
• Familiarity with evaluation frameworks, agent tooling, RAG pipelines, and prompt engineering.
• Experience interfacing with customers or leading technical projects with external stakeholders.
