Mechanisms Technician II, First Shift (Aerospace)

Location: Long Beach, California, United States; first shift, Monday through Friday, 5:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. PT.

Hiring range: $28.27–$42.40 USD per hour.

What you will do

• Collaborate with engineering teams to build the first Terran R mechanism assemblies.
• Follow detailed work instructions and complete mechanical build operations.
• Assemble and test complex electro-mechanical assemblies using hand tools and test equipment.
• Work with technicians to execute daily manufacturing operations.
• Support real-time problem solving and process improvement for scalable rocket production.

Requirements

• 2+ years of aerospace mechanical experience or related experience.
• Experience working with flight hardware in fast-paced environments.
• Proficiency with calibrated tools, including torque wrenches and precision inspection equipment.
• Experience building and testing electro-mechanical systems.
• Experience with wiring, harnessing, avionics, and relevant aerospace standards and specifications.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to product quality.

Nice to have

• Experience with high- and low-voltage electrical testing.
• Experience troubleshooting electro-mechanical assemblies.
• Airframe and Powerplant license.
