Software Engineer (Machine Control/OOD/OOP)

Base pay: $136,300–$199,900 annually

What you will do

• Develop and debug object-oriented software for semiconductor inspection and metrology systems.
• Design high-performance multithreaded, parallel, and distributed software applications.
• Build software that controls electromechanical, optomechanical, data acquisition, servo control, and robotics systems.
• Advance software capabilities for high-volume semiconductor manufacturing and defect detection.
• Collaborate with technical specialists and contribute strong communication and leadership skills.

Requirements

• Degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, or computer science.
• Doctorate with at least 2 years of experience, a master’s degree with at least 2 years of experience, or a bachelor’s degree with at least 3 years of experience.
• Expertise in object-oriented software design principles.
• Professional experience with Java, C++, or Python.
• Experience designing, developing, and debugging multithreaded, parallel, and distributed high-performance applications.
• Experience developing software to control hardware systems, with strong communication and leadership skills.
