Senior Manager Manufacturing Operations

Location: Nuevo Laredo, Tamaulipas, Mexico. The role will initially be associated with the existing Nuevo Laredo work location and will transition to a new facility approximately five miles away when it opens.

What you will do

• Direct daily plant operations across production, manufacturing, maintenance, engineering support, safety, regulatory compliance, distribution, and warehousing.
• Lead the development and continuous improvement of operating methods, equipment, systems, and infrastructure.
• Develop production schedules, monitor performance, and remove operational impediments to meet internal goals and customer expectations.
• Oversee hiring, performance management, training, and development for plant personnel.
• Build teamwork and maintain open communication around operational vision, strategy, and plans.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science degree.
• Proficient English communication skills, both written and verbal.
• 10+ years of relevant experience or equivalent experience.
• Experience leading a standalone or unionized facility, negotiating with customers, and prioritizing work under pressure.
• Strong technical skills in fuel systems and precision machining.

Nice to have

• Experience with union and governmental relationships.
• Knowledge of profit and loss management and budgeting.
• Understanding of hirify.global's organization, products, policies, and procedures.
• Certified Six Sigma Black Belt.
