Jr. Cloud Security Engineer

hirify.global is hiring for its Engineering & Architecture Cloud Services team.

What you will do

• Assist with deploying and configuring virtual machines, S3 or Blob storage, VPCs, subnets, and other networking components.
• Monitor system performance, network traffic, application logs, and cloud availability using tools such as AWS CloudWatch or Azure Monitor.
• Identify, document, and resolve infrastructure errors, cloud system issues, and downtime incidents.
• Write and maintain basic automation scripts with Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
• Apply security controls including user access management, firewalls, and security groups.
• Support application deployments and CI/CD pipelines while learning Terraform or Ansible for repeatable infrastructure management.

Requirements

• BA or BS degree, or 2–4 years of experience in a related field.
• Approved to work in the United States.
• Foundational knowledge of at least one major cloud provider, cloud architecture, migration, and security.
• Experience with FedRAMP IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS offerings and cloud-based Computer Network Defense.
• Knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, load balancers, firewalls, Linux or Windows, and cloud automation or scripting.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to collaborate across technical teams and leadership.
