Cloud Security Lead (AI)

Location: Foster City, California, United States. Hybrid role with an in-office requirement on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.

Base salary: $250,000–$325,000 per year, plus equity.

What you will do

• Lead cloud configuration hardening across GCP, with additional oversight of AWS and Azure workloads and integrations.
• Own CSPM platforms, configuration baselines, security guardrails, and remediation workflows across multi-cloud environments.
• Secure SaaS platforms, containerized and Kubernetes workloads, registries, platform services, and multi-tenant AI infrastructure.
• Manage infrastructure vulnerability programs, runtime protections, network policies, workload identity, and cloud logging configurations.
• Embed secure-by-default practices into engineering workflows, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud-native deployments.
• Partner with Security Monitoring, Compliance/GRC, Architecture, DevOps, Platform Engineering, and ML Infrastructure teams; support incident investigations and customer-facing security communications.

Requirements

• 7+ years of cloud engineering experience, including 3+ years in a senior or lead role.
• Deep hands-on expertise in GCP security, including IAM, VPC, KMS, GKE, and Cloud Logging.
• Experience with CSPM tools, SaaS security and identity integrations, infrastructure vulnerability management, and container or Kubernetes security across GKE, EKS, or AKS.
• Working knowledge of AWS and/or Azure security services, plus strong infrastructure-as-code security experience with Terraform, Pulumi, or similar tools.
• Automation and scripting experience with Python, along with familiarity with SOC 2, ISO 27001, and PCI DSS.
• Experience supporting secure cloud-native or PaaS environments, AI/ML pipelines, model-serving infrastructure, developer platforms, or sensitive data pipelines.

Nice to have

• Experience at a high-growth technology or cloud-native product company.
• Relevant certifications such as GCP Professional Cloud Security Engineer or AWS/Azure security certifications.
• Experience securing AI or agentic systems.
