PRN Medical Assistant/LPN

Salary: $21.00–$25.00 per hour

What you will do

• Escort patients, prepare examination rooms, and maintain clinical supplies and equipment.
• Review medical histories, gather updated health information, take vital signs, perform blood draws, administer injections and immunizations, and assist with procedures.
• Prepare and administer approved medications under provider direction and written orders.
• Support individualized care plans, identify care gaps, coordinate referrals and specialist visits, and conduct patient outreach.
• Perform front-desk duties, including scheduling, check-in and check-out, medical record requests, documentation, and result communication.
• Record accurate patient data and coordinate additional testing with contracted laboratories.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience as a Medical Assistant, preferably in primary care.
• Graduation from a formal Medical Assistant or related program.
• National or state-specific Medical Assistant certification or registration; certification or registration is required where mandated by state law.
• CPR/BLS certification required by the start date.

Nice to have

• Phlebotomy experience.
