Senior or Staff Software Engineer (Fintech)

Location: Hybrid role based in the Seattle office, with in-person team collaboration and lunch every Wednesday. Candidates must be authorized to work lawfully in the United States; visa sponsorship is not available.

Salary: Senior $180,000–$200,000 per year plus equity; Staff $220,000–$245,000 per year plus equity.

What you will do

• Build backend and full-stack features that simplify finance and accounting tasks for construction companies.
• Design and develop new customer-facing products and tools.
• Write scalable software capable of handling large volumes of platform data.
• Work directly with customers, engineers, and business stakeholders to identify and solve complex problems.

Requirements

• 5+ years of software engineering experience.
• Expert knowledge of a statically typed language, ideally Java or TypeScript.
• Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Knowledge of TypeScript, React and/or React Native, and Google Cloud Platform.
• Familiarity with accounting concepts, fintech, or payment processing.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States; employment-based visa sponsorship is not available.

Nice to have

• BSc in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
• Experience with Java, TypeScript, React Native, fintech, or payment processing.
