What you will do

• Support the compliance framework, risk and compliance system, registers, monitoring plans, training plans, and consolidated reporting.
• Develop and review compliance policies, standards, guidance, and training programs.
• Perform compliance reviews and control assurance activities against regulatory obligations.
• Monitor regulatory and legislative changes and assess impacts across the organisation.
• Provide guidance on APRA, ASIC, AUSTRAC, OAIC, and DIA requirements, and support certifications, reporting, audits, and external information requests.
• Prepare regular and ad hoc compliance reporting and analysis for management.

Requirements

• Extensive compliance or regulatory experience in Australian financial services or payments.
• Experience interpreting and managing financial services obligations.
• Strong understanding of compliance management principles, structures, processes, and frameworks.
• Knowledge of APRA standards and requirements for operating as an ADI.
• Knowledge of AML/CTF legislation, the Privacy Act, and AFSL requirements.
• Strong stakeholder engagement, influencing, communication, autonomy, and judgement skills.
