Systems Engineer (Quantum Computing)

Location: Onsite in Pasadena, California, United States

Salary: $200,000–$350,000 per year, depending on experience; equity offered.

What you will do

• Design, build, and operate fault-tolerant neutral atom quantum computers.
• Integrate complex hardware and software systems across lasers, optics, vacuum, electronics, software, and processor design.
• Define interfaces between subsystems and develop system specifications.
• Coordinate system-level design, assembly, testing, and operation.
• Combine system-level planning with hands-on laboratory work.
• Collaborate with scientists and engineers across multiple disciplines.

Requirements

• Strong interest in building a quantum computer.
• Ability to work effectively in a highly collaborative team environment.
• Strong technical background and experience across multiple engineering disciplines are desirable.
• Ability to work onsite in Pasadena, California.
