Senior Software Engineer (React/Frontend)

Location: Remote, with two annual company-wide events and four on-site visits per year to a client headquarters in Atlanta, GA. Candidates in the Atlanta area receive priority consideration.

What you will do

• Own end-to-end feature development in React applications, from design through implementation and release.
• Build and improve unit, integration, and end-to-end testing quality gates.
• Lead code reviews and establish maintainable, consistent patterns across client codebases.
• Create and maintain GitHub Actions pipelines for builds, testing, linting, and security checks.
• Administer GitHub repositories and improve dependency management, permissions, branch protection, and repository hygiene.
• Partner with client teams, mentor engineers, and communicate technical plans to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Requirements

• 5+ years of software development experience.
• Deep experience with React, Redux or comparable state management, and application design.
• Strong TypeScript experience integrating front ends with REST APIs and backend platforms.
• Experience with React unit and integration testing, end-to-end testing, GitHub Actions, and repository administration.
• Experience building accessible, responsive UIs and working with shared design systems.
• Strong communication, collaboration, mentoring, and multi-project delivery skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with Vitest, Playwright, Snyk, SonarQube, Next.js, AWS, enterprise platforms, or AI-assisted development tools.
• Experience with IBM TRIRIGA or other enterprise platforms.
