Product Manager - Platform (Enterprise Security)

Location: San Francisco, US (Hybrid)

Salary: $175,000–$210,000 USD total target cash compensation

What you will do

• Define and drive the roadmap for the enterprise management surface, including identity and access management, SSO, authentication, audit logging, admin controls, and account and organization settings.
• Translate enterprise security reviews, compliance obligations, and customer requirements into prioritized platform initiatives.
• Own the consistency and reliability of shared platform foundations, including the design system, shared components, public APIs, and extensibility patterns.
• Partner with engineering leads on architecture tradeoffs involving reliability, performance, and platform ownership boundaries.
• Build business cases for security, compliance, and infrastructure investments with indirect or long-term ROI.
• Work with enterprise customers and Sales and Customer Success teams to identify platform gaps, define metrics, and evolve the platform remit.

Requirements

• 5+ years of product management experience owning technically complex problems end to end.
• Direct experience with identity, access management, enterprise administration, or security-adjacent products.
• Systems-thinking ability and understanding of how platform decisions affect products, user journeys, and engineering teams.
• Experience aligning engineering, security, and go-to-market functions without formal authority.
• Experience building business cases for security, compliance, or infrastructure investments.
• Technical fluency in identity, authentication, and security infrastructure tradeoffs, with clear written and verbal communication.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with SSO protocols such as SAML and OIDC, passkeys/WebAuthn, or RBAC design patterns.
• Experience with SOC 2, GDPR, or enterprise security review processes.
• Hands-on experience using hirify.global.
• Experience navigating the transition from a single-product company to a multiproduct platform.
