Certified Pharmacy Technician I - Evening Shift

Location: Memphis, TN, United States; onsite evening-shift role.

Salary: $20.50–$34.50 per hour

What you will do

• Perform routine technical and clerical pharmacy tasks under pharmacist supervision, including medication dispensing, prescription filling, and mail-out order processing.
• Prepare unit-dose medications, outpatient prescriptions, and intravenous admixtures.
• File and maintain patient records according to established procedures.
• Order, stock, and distribute pharmacy inventory throughout the institution while maintaining accurate inventory levels.
• Maintain regular and predictable attendance and support department operations as assigned.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Registration as a Pharmacy Technician with the State of Tennessee is required and must be renewed every two years.
• Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) certification is required.
• Experience with hospital pharmacy operations, including parenteral or unit-dose medication preparation, medication dispensing, inventory management, or drug classifications, is preferred.
• Experience using software tools for documentation and records is preferred.

Nice to have

• Apexus Certified Expert (ACE) certification.
• Pharmacy Basic Life Support (CPR) certification.
