Maintenance Mechanic - Entry Level

Location: Auburn, Washington, United States; on-site, 1st shift, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM

What you will do

• Maintain and repair production machinery, computer systems, and facility equipment.
• Ensure the proper operation of Cheshire machines, inkjet printers, and Alpha liners.
• Replace and repair parts; rebuild equipment; and align gears, shafts, pulleys, and belts.
• Perform preventive maintenance, diagnose equipment faults, and respond to work orders and production-floor maintenance requests.
• Manage parts inventory and document maintenance activities using preventive-maintenance checklists.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area while following safety procedures and OSHA regulations.

Requirements

• Approximately 1 year of related experience and prior electromechanical experience.
• Mechanical or electrical experience, supported by a technical degree or equivalent experience.
• Ability to perform production-equipment preventive maintenance and diagnose equipment faults and malfunctions.
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations and ability to use computers and technical manuals.
• Ability to work on-site in Auburn, Washington, during the 8:00 AM–4:30 PM first shift.
• Ability to walk, stand, bend, stoop, climb, and routinely lift up to 40 pounds.
