Finance Lead (AI)

Location: On-site in the San Francisco or New York City office

Salary: $200,000–$250,000 per year, plus equity

What you will do

• Own the company’s books and build the financial operating system.
• Build and maintain the financial model, cash forecast, runway view, and spend reporting.
• Manage revenue recognition, invoicing, and collections for pharma and biotech contracts.
• Own the finance stack, including ERP, billing, procurement, and expense systems.
• Support payroll, benefits, equity administration, headcount planning, and budgeting.
• Model major commitments and advise on commercial deal pricing, structure, and margins.

Requirements

• 4–7 years of experience in finance, operations, consulting, or a similar business-side role.
• Strong analytical and financial modeling experience.
• Executive-level communication skills and confidence presenting recommendations.
• Comfort working in ambiguity, context-switching, and high-intensity environments.
• Active use of AI tools to automate tasks, optimize workflows, and direct agents.
• Strong interest in AI for science.
