Location: Torrance, California, United States; U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government security clearance are required

Salary: $127,700–$161,000 USD annually in California

What you will do

• Plan and oversee daily production schedules to meet output, quality, safety, and delivery targets.
• Supervise, train, and develop production staff and shift supervisors while managing staffing and shift schedules.
• Monitor production KPIs, maintain production records, and prepare performance reports for senior management.
• Coordinate with Quality, Supply Chain, and Engineering to resolve operational, equipment, and process issues.
• Manage production budgets, control costs, and identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Lead continuous improvement, bottleneck resolution, and root-cause analysis across operations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, Business, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• At least 4 years of manufacturing or production experience, including supervisory or managerial experience.
• Strong knowledge of production planning, lean manufacturing, and quality systems.
• Leadership, team management, problem-solving, decision-making, and communication skills.
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems and Microsoft Office.
• U.S. citizenship and eligibility to obtain and maintain a U.S. government security clearance are required.

Nice to have

• Experience in aerospace, defense, or other high-reliability industries.
• Experience scaling production from prototype to volume.
• Familiarity with ITAR, AS9100, or ISO regulatory environments.
• Lean, Six Sigma, or APICS certification.
• Experience with government or defense programs and Oracle.
