Software Development Engineer in Test II (Gaming)

What you will do

• Review product requirements and design documents to create testing strategies.
• Develop test plans, write test cases, and execute tests for new and existing features.
• Implement and maintain UI test automation scripts and improve the automation framework.
• Report, track, and verify defects while monitoring automation jobs.
• Provide quality status reports to leadership and key partners.
• Work with infrastructure engineers to maintain shared services, including CI test pipelines.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent knowledge.
• 3+ years of experience with UI automation for web or native applications.
• Experience with the software testing life cycle and centralized and distributed version control systems.
• Experience maintaining CI systems, preferably Jenkins.
• Experience with Selenium or Appium.
• Programming or scripting experience, preferably with Python.

Nice to have

• Experience with Angular, Ember, or React.
• Experience developing or testing phones, game consoles, set-top boxes, or other non-PC devices.
• Experience with Agile methodologies, Python, Node, or React Native.
• Experience developing or writing test code for a game console.
