Business Systems Analyst III (Microsoft/Azure)

Location: Schaumburg, Illinois, United States; hybrid work with the option to work remotely 40% of the time. Occasional 5% travel within the United States is required.

What you will do

• Act as the liaison between business stakeholders and IT for the Morpheus and ZLAPS applications.
• Gather, document, and manage requirements for projects and system enhancements.
• Create process models, use cases, class diagrams, and sequence diagrams to validate business and product designs.
• Analyze scope, costs, benefits, risks, and impacts of proposed requirements and system changes.
• Collaborate with actuaries to configure proprietary pricing models for commercial property and casualty products.
• Support production by investigating logs, performing root cause analysis, coordinating fixes, and providing technology recommendations for Microsoft and Azure pricing tools.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, or a closely related field.
• At least 8 years of experience in business systems analysis, programming analysis, systems analysis, software development, application analysis, or a related role.
• At least 8 years of experience with commercial large property and casualty insurance products, pricing models, commercial insurance processes, and Microsoft and Azure technologies.
• At least 2 years of experience with Raven DB or another NoSQL database, requirements facilitation, process modeling, impact analysis, and production support.
• Experience collaborating with business owners, IT development teams, and actuaries and delivering timely production fixes.
• Willingness to travel approximately 5% within the United States.
