Senior Staff Engineer, Supply Chain (Aerospace)

Location: Seattle, Washington, United States; on-site with travel up to 50%, including international travel

Salary: $210,000–$310,000 per year, plus bonus, benefits, and equity for regular full-time employees.

What you will do

• Audit and improve supplier processes affecting cost, lead times, quality, and scalability.
• Conduct on-site audits and lead investigations into supplier quality and performance issues.
• Assess supplier capabilities and align them with engineering and operational priorities.
• Provide technical guidance on part specifications, manufacturing processes, standards, and quality measures.
• Monitor supplier delivery, quality, and cost metrics and implement corrective action plans.
• Support new product introduction and mitigate supply-chain risks to maintain uninterrupted production.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in supply chain, manufacturing engineering, or process engineering.
• Experience working with suppliers or production lines, including root-cause investigations using 8D and 5 Whys.
• Confidently read engineering drawings and apply GD&T.
• Understanding of machining, welding, and forming processes.
• Experience with CAD tools such as SolidWorks, NX, or CATIA.
• Experience with Excel and data analysis, as well as PLM or ERP systems.
