AVP, Senior Manager, Facilities (Facilities Management)

Location: New York, United States; onsite facilities management role supporting the New York complex and off-site storage unit.

Base salary: $105,000–$115,000 per year, plus discretionary bonus and benefits.

What you will do

• Manage hard and soft facilities services across the New York complex and off-site storage unit.
• Oversee property assets, building maintenance, planned and reactive repairs, M&E systems, safety procedures, and statutory documentation.
• Lead workplace, occupancy, and space-management activities using OfficeSpace and up-to-date space plans.
• Manage the FM service provider, contractors, outsourced service agreements, SLAs, RFPs, and issue resolution.
• Direct planned and ad-hoc projects, including plant replacement, fit-outs, furniture moves, and building improvements.
• Manage team performance, OPEX and CAPEX budgets, emergency responses, business continuity, compliance, energy, and waste-management activities.

Requirements

• Degree-level education or equivalent and strong Microsoft Office skills.
• Senior facilities-management experience across multiple properties in a complex estate environment, including line management.
• Experience working with an outsourced FM service-provider model, workplace and space management, contractors, and multiple service agreements.
• Strong customer service, communication, stakeholder-management, negotiation, analytical, planning, and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage competing priorities, financial and commercial information, senior-management expectations, and changing operational requirements.
• IOSH Managing Safely qualification.

Nice to have

• Experience with CAFM or space-management software, particularly OfficeSpace.
• CAD experience.
