Senior Property Manager (Affordable Housing)

Location: On-site in Gray, Maine, with regular travel between properties throughout the Inland region

Salary: $65,000–$75,000 annually

What you will do

• Lead and mentor property management staff.
• Oversee daily operations across a portfolio of affordable housing properties.
• Manage and monitor property budgets and financial performance.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and the physical condition of properties.
• Collaborate across departments to support resident satisfaction and community well-being.
• Travel regularly between properties in the Inland region.

Requirements

• At least two years of experience managing affordable multi-family housing, such as LIHTC, HUD, or Rural Development properties.
• Strong organizational, time management, leadership, analytical, interviewing, and communication skills.
• Experience assisting disadvantaged people.
• Ability to prepare and monitor budgets and work independently and collaboratively.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office products.
• Ability to travel between properties.
