Director, Strategy & Transformation (Finance and Accounting)

Location: Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA; travel as needed and work outside core business hours may be required for client engagements.

Pay range: $155,00–$312,200.

What you will do

• Lead hirify.global and client resources through strategy definition, future-state visioning, target operating model design, roadmap development, and transformation project delivery.
• Use finance, accounting, industry, and operational expertise to optimize finance organizations, standardize processes, and define policies, procedures, metrics, roles, reporting structures, and governance.
• Assess current operating models, identify gaps, and provide recommendations aligned with industry standards and benchmarks.
• Manage multiple projects across analyze, design, build, test, and deploy phases, including staffing, deadlines, documentation, requirements, business cases, and implementation plans.
• Gather and define requirements through interviews, document analysis, workshops, surveys, and site visits; manage vendors and coordinate executive, stakeholder, client, and development-team communication.
• Support practice growth, go-to-market activities, delivery standards, team development, client relationships, and professional development programs.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• At least 12 years of related experience; previous related industry and consulting experience is highly preferred.
• Experience managing senior-level client relationships and working across organizations with multiple stakeholders.
• Extensive finance and accounting expertise with a proven record of optimizing and developing finance organizations.
• Ability to lead and supervise others, provide exceptional client service, understand both strategic and detailed perspectives, demonstrate ethical judgment, and deliver quality work on time.
• Ability to decompose scope into activities and deliverables and hand off work packages to hirify.global, client, and third-party delivery resources.
• Ability to manage multiple projects or initiatives and support different workstreams as needed.
• Creative problem-solving, management, analytical, organizational, interpersonal, project management, communication, and Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint skills.
• Experience with full-lifecycle application development, including requirements gathering, use cases, system analysis and design, integration, testing, and deployment, as well as enterprise technology system implementation and management.

Nice to have

• Project or program management certification such as PMP or PgMP.
• Agile certification such as PMI-ACP, CSM, PSM, or SAFe POPM.
