Supervisor II, Laboratory (Chemistry)

Location: DeLand, Florida, United States. Onsite night-shift role, Tuesday–Friday from 5:00 PM to 3:30 AM, with one working Saturday every 12 weeks. Relocation is available.

Salary: $78,000–$107,600 per year, plus a $5,000 target bonus.

What you will do

• Supervise laboratory staff and manage daily clinical laboratory workflow.
• Monitor turnaround time, quality, productivity, and operational performance.
• Provide coaching, training, and team development.
• Support clinical chemistry and other bench operations as needed.
• Ensure compliance with CAP and other regulatory requirements.
• Develop and implement SOPs, address quality issues, and participate in laboratory quality improvement activities.

Requirements

• 6–8+ years of medical technologist or laboratory experience, including supervisory experience.
• Active Florida Supervisor License in Clinical Chemistry and Serology.
• ASCP, AAB, or AMT certification.
• Bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology, Biological Sciences, or a related field.
• Experience with clinical chemistry, renal laboratory testing, clinical laboratory supervision, and night-shift operations.
• Experience with CAP compliance, quality assurance, and SOPs; willingness to work the stated night-shift schedule.
