Senior Director, Enterprise Portfolio Manamagement

Location: Based locally at one of the U.S. hubs, ideally Chaska, MN, Bedford, MA, or Aurora, IL

Salary: $186,500–$266,500 per year, plus annual bonus eligibility

What you will do

• Lead the Enterprise Portfolio Management Office and establish portfolio governance and delivery practices.
• Manage enterprise demand intake, prioritization, funding, investment decisions, and the full portfolio lifecycle.
• Lead capacity planning, resource forecasting, portfolio optimization, and executive tradeoff decisions.
• Provide oversight for large-scale, cross-functional technology and business transformation initiatives.
• Report on portfolio performance, investment health, risks, and realized business value.
• Lead and develop a high-performing portfolio management team while advancing PMO maturity and organizational change.

Requirements

• Demonstrated success leading an Enterprise PMO, Portfolio Management Office, or comparable function in a complex global organization.
• Extensive experience with strategic technology portfolios, enterprise transformation, portfolio governance, demand management, prioritization, and resource planning.
• Strong understanding of portfolio, program, project, Agile, and product delivery methodologies.
• Proven ability to influence executives and partner across business and technology functions.
• Strong business and financial acumen, including business cases, budgeting, forecasting, and investment planning.
• 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in portfolio, program, or project management.

Nice to have

• Master's degree in business administration, Information Systems, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Certifications such as PMP, PgMP, PfMP, PMI-ACP, CSM, or equivalent.
• Experience transforming PMO organizations and advancing portfolio management maturity.
