Electrician II (Aerospace Manufacturing)

Location: Long Beach, California, United States; onsite role supporting facility and manufacturing operations.

Salary: $31–$46.50 USD per hour.

What you will do

• Troubleshoot and repair electrical circuits, lighting, motors, controls, and equipment across manufacturing, office, laboratory, and facility operations.
• Perform preventive maintenance and inspections, identifying unsafe or abnormal electrical conditions.
• Install, modify, and maintain electrical distribution equipment, conduit, wiring, and connections for machinery and facility projects.
• Maintain generators, UPS systems, HVAC-related electrical components, pumps, and other facility systems.
• Prioritize electrical work requests in JIRA, document repairs, and coordinate with Facilities, Engineering, Operations, and contractors.
• Follow electrical safety, lockout/tagout, energized-work, and OSHA requirements while performing physically demanding work at heights and with loads up to 50 pounds.

Requirements

• Electrical trade school or technical training.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience in facilities maintenance, industrial maintenance, construction, or a related environment.
• Experience with electrical distribution systems, motors, variable frequency drives, controls, transformers, and generators.
• Experience working with 120V, 208V, 240V, 277V, 400V, and 480V systems.
• Ability to read electrical drawings, schematics, equipment manuals, and single-line diagrams.
• Knowledge of electrical safety, lockout/tagout, energized-work procedures, and use of electrical testing equipment and hand tools.
