Product Director / Manager, Trading API (Crypto)

Location: Hong Kong, Hong Kong SAR. Applicants must have the current right to work in Hong Kong and must not require visa sponsorship.

What you will do

• Develop and maintain core API trading products.
• Gather business requirements and API feedback from institutional customers, internal stakeholders, and external users.
• Translate customer and market insights into product iteration plans and API specifications.
• Analyze competitors, industry trends, and client behavior using data analytics.
• Build relationships with customers and strategic partners to guide product enhancements.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in product management or engineering, preferably with trading or technology platforms.
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering, mathematics, or finance.
• Strong interest in blockchain and finance, with a logical, data-driven, proactive, and self-directed approach.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills.
• Proficiency in English; conversational Mandarin is preferred for cross-functional communication with non-English-speaking engineers.
• Current right to work in Hong Kong without visa sponsorship is required.

Nice to have

• Experience in crypto, blockchain, fintech, financial markets, or building businesses.
• Experience trading stocks, funds, forex, futures, or options.
• Knowledge of data analytics tools such as Python and SQL.
