Data Scientist (Data Engineering)

What you will do

• Architect and deliver large-scale, cloud-native data solutions for aviation use cases.
• Develop complex data pipelines, data warehouse solutions, and lakehouse architectures.
• Work with Databricks, Spark, PySpark, Delta Lake, Snowflake, and MLOps tooling.
• Implement model management and deployment workflows, ideally with MLflow.
• Build data solutions using Python, SQL, and Scala across cloud platforms, primarily AWS.
• Collaborate with data engineers, architects, and product owners to deliver high-quality data assets.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in data engineering or a related field.
• At least 1 year of hands-on Databricks experience in a production environment.
• Strong knowledge of AWS, cloud platforms, data lakes, data warehousing, and data modeling.
• Experience with ETL, BI, data quality, governance, orchestration, version control, and CI/CD tools.
• Advanced programming skills in Python, SQL, and Scala.
• Strong communication, collaboration, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently.

Nice to have

• Experience with Azure and multi-cloud environments.
• Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field.
• Enterprise experience designing and implementing complex data platforms.
• Experience with Scaled Agile planning and execution.
