Valve Engineer II (New Product Development)

Research and Development work focused on designing and developing new valve product lines.

What you will do

• Design and develop gate valves for slurry severe service, metal-seated trunnion ball valves for high-temperature and high-cycling severe service, and API 6A ball valves rated at 15,000 psi.
• Perform engineering calculations and simulations to validate design concepts.
• Create and maintain engineering drawings, specifications, and related documentation.
• Oversee prototype development and testing, analyze results, and adjust designs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams throughout product development.
• Monitor industry trends, technologies, and engineering best practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in valve design and development.
• Proficiency with CAD software such as SolidWorks or AutoCAD and engineering analysis tools such as FEA or CFD.
• Strong knowledge of API 6D, API 6A, MSS-SP-81, and ASME codes.
• Strong problem-solving, attention-to-detail, communication, and teamwork skills.
