Strategy Insights & Planning Associate Consultant-Business Advisory (Healthcare)

Location: Hybrid role based in Chicago, South San Francisco, Thousand Oaks, New York, Princeton, Philadelphia, Boston, or Evanston, United States. The role combines work from home with on-site presence at client and hirify.global offices, and client-facing employees should be prepared to travel as needed.

Salary: $117,500–$155,000 per year, plus potential cost-of-living adjustments, bonuses, relocation support, insurance, leave, and retirement benefits.

What you will do

• Support project leadership in developing strategic approaches to pharmaceutical business questions across Commercial and R&D.
• Coordinate day-to-day project activities, manage timelines, and collaborate with clients, internal teams, and leadership.
• Analyze quantitative and qualitative data to generate insights and address complex, ambiguous client challenges.
• Develop clear deliverables that connect analysis to recommendations and support confident client decisions.
• Manage assigned workstreams, organize project materials, conduct analyses, and communicate business insights and interdependencies.
• Contribute to internal initiatives, team activities, and office events.

Requirements

• 3–4 years of relevant experience in a management consulting firm; candidates with an MBA or PhD and 3+ years of relevant experience may be considered.
• Relevant graduate education in business, economics, marketing, psychology, life sciences, engineering, applied mathematics, statistics, health economics, decision sciences, or a related field.
• Strong professional oral and written communication, problem-solving, stakeholder management, and business judgment skills.
• Ability to interpret strategic documents and financial statements, understand industry and functional trends, and influence executive priorities.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities in a fast-paced environment with strong attention to detail.
• Must already be authorized to work in the United States without requiring employer sponsorship now or in the future.
