Inspections Advisor – Intrusive Pole Inspections/Darklight

Location: Pomona, California, US. Hybrid work mode with required reporting to an SCE facility on set days; employees are generally required to work and reside in California. Relocation does not apply.

Salary: $129,200–$193,700 per year

What you will do

• Plan, execute, and oversee intrusive pole and streetlight inspection programs.
• Manage contracts, permits, easements, contractor deliverables, and regulatory requirements.
• Develop data-management practices, validate inspection information, and upload data into required systems.
• Coordinate transmission and distribution activities, including outage management, facility maintenance, and capital improvements.
• Track project costs, scope, resources, schedules, budgets, and risks while resolving delivery issues.
• Analyze operational and customer data and prepare reports, dashboards, charts, and heat maps for stakeholders.

Requirements

• Seven or more years of experience in energy delivery and distribution.
• Strong data validation, reporting, documentation, and stakeholder coordination skills.
• Ability to manage competing priorities, resolve schedule or deliverable issues, and drive accountability.
• Experience with mapping, work-management, reporting, or data-visualization tools.
• Experience with SCE systems such as SAP and GIS.
• Must work and reside in California and follow the hybrid work arrangement.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of intrusive pole inspection methods, pole condition assessment, distribution asset health, or utility inspection standards.
• Experience with contractor scorecards, audit documentation, quality-control programs, or regulatory inspection programs.
• Experience developing repeatable reporting tools, data queries, process documentation, or continuous-improvement recommendations.
