Electrical Engineer (FPGA/PCB)

Location: 100% onsite in Lexington, Massachusetts; candidates must live within 100 miles of Lexington and be US citizens

What you will do

• Design, integrate, test, and deliver advanced electrical and embedded technology solutions.
• Support fast-paced technology development and rapid prototyping projects for a defense research organization.
• Develop low-power and battery-operated systems, analog circuits, sensors, digital circuits, and digital interfaces.
• Architect, design, program, debug, and prototype FPGA inputs and systems.
• Design and lay out PCBs, fabricate printed circuits, and debug new circuits using electronic test equipment.
• Develop embedded software for microcontrollers and experimental hardware control systems.

Requirements

• US citizenship and the ability to obtain an active Secret Clearance are required; interim clearance is sufficient to start.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• At least three years of experience with analog and digital design, circuit architectures and algorithms, analog and power electronics, and general electronics.
• At least three years of experience with PCB design and layout, printed circuit fabrication, circuit debugging, FPGA programming, ASICs, VLSI, mixed-signal design, and embedded microcontrollers.
• Experience with electro-optics, RF sensors and communication protocols, PCB schematic capture and layout tools, NVIDIA Jetson products, and FPGA debugging and prototyping.
• 100% onsite work is required within 100 miles of Lexington, Massachusetts.
