Senior Frontend Engineer (Vue/Nuxt)

Location: Remote in Mexico

Salary: MX$75,000–95,000 per month

What you will do

• Build and maintain Vue/Nuxt frontend applications for ticketing, point-of-sale, and back-office configuration.
• Develop shared SDKs, component libraries, boilerplate, and internal npm packages for frontend teams.
• Set up agent-assisted development workflows and critically review AI-generated changes before merging.
• Collaborate with Product and Design to clarify requirements, identify specification gaps, and make trade-offs.
• Maintain code quality through reviews, testing, accessibility practices, performance budgets, and CI/CD.

Requirements

• 5+ years of frontend development experience, including 2+ years with Vue, TypeScript, Nuxt or a similar framework, and Vite.
• Strong Vue 3 fundamentals, with some Vue 2 experience, including component architecture, state management with Pinia or Vuex, and accessibility.
• Experience consuming REST APIs, using shared SDKs, implementing form validation, and writing tests with Vitest and Vue Test Utils.
• Experience with CI/CD, GitLab CI, Docker, build tooling, and containerized deployments.
• Daily hands-on use of AI coding tools such as Claude Code, Cursor, Codex, or equivalent is required.
• Clear communication, constructive collaboration, strong system design judgment, and ownership of ambiguous work and merged code.

Nice to have

• Cloud infrastructure ownership and frontend observability or monitoring experience.
• Shared design system, component library, or boilerplate experience.
• B2B or point-of-sale experience in the attractions or venue industry.
• Interest in multi-agent workflows and human-in-the-loop review patterns.
