Senior Frontend Developer (Vue/Nuxt.js)

Location: Hamburg, Germany; hybrid

Salary: €70,000–€85,000 per year

What you will do

• Build high-traffic user interfaces and new shop features with JavaScript, TypeScript, Vue 3, and Nuxt 3.
• Develop frontend features that improve user experience and conversion rates.
• Collaborate with developers, product managers, QA engineers, and the Tech Lead on design systems and architectural decisions.
• Implement accurate, pixel-perfect designs using Tailwind CSS.
• Maintain code quality through code reviews, automated and manual testing, retrospectives, and end-to-end quality assurance.
• Contribute to knowledge sharing and the internal engineering tech community within an agile Scrum environment.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of professional frontend development experience.
• Professional experience with TypeScript and Vue 3, plus strong knowledge of HTML, JavaScript, and CSS.
• Hands-on experience with Tailwind CSS and accurate UI implementation.
• Good understanding of accessibility and performance optimisation.
• Practical experience with automated testing tools such as Playwright, Jest, or Vitest.
• Excellent English communication skills and the ability to adopt different perspectives.

Nice to have

• Experience with Redis.
• Knowledge of Vue Storefront and SCAYLE.
• Background in B2C e-commerce or a fast-paced boutique agency environment.
