Senior Design Engineer

Location: Paris, France; hybrid work with office attendance every Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. Work from home is available on Mondays and Fridays.

Salary: €85.9K–€99.2K annually, plus equity.

What you will do

• Own and evolve the design system across Figma, Storybook, and production code.
• Build, refactor, and maintain reusable, accessible, well-documented UI components.
• Reduce design and code drift across component libraries, legacy patterns, and the Figma system.
• Establish patterns, conventions, and guardrails for consistency, accessibility, maintainability, and developer experience.
• Prototype interaction patterns and reference implementations for complex product decisions.
• Partner with Product Designers, Product Managers, and Engineers on enterprise-grade workflows and product experiences.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience designing and building production hirify.globalend experiences.
• Strong hirify.globalend engineering skills with modern web technologies and component-based architecture.
• Strong UI/UX craft and product judgment, including usability, accessibility, flexibility, and maintainability.
• Experience with component libraries, Storybook, visual regression workflows, design-token pipelines, Figma workflows or plugins, or similar infrastructure.
• Strong accessibility fundamentals, including semantic HTML, ARIA patterns, keyboard interactions, focus management, and inclusive component states.
• A portfolio or body of work demonstrating shipped design-engineering impact.

Nice to have

• Experience with large hirify.globalend surfaces, multiple product teams, and mature or evolving design systems.
• Background in customer operations, collaboration software, internal tools, developer tools, or workflow-heavy SaaS products.
• Experience consolidating component libraries or aligning Figma libraries with production code.
• Experience using AI-assisted coding or design tools.
