Location: Morristown, New Jersey, United States; hybrid role for US and Puerto Rico residents

Salary: $293,250–$423,583 annually

What you will do

• Define and execute the patient-centered medical strategy for General Medicines in North America.
• Represent Medical on the North America Leadership Team and partner with Commercial, Access, R&D, Clinical Development, Safety, Regulatory, and Product Management.
• Lead, develop, and retain a medical affairs organization of approximately 100 professionals.
• Oversee medical activities across pre-launch, launch, and post-launch product lifecycle stages.
• Manage the North America medical budget and allocate resources across high-priority initiatives.
• Build relationships with key opinion leaders, scientific experts, patient advocacy groups, health authorities, and industry forums.

Requirements

• MD qualification required; Ph.D. and publications are desirable.
• At least 10 years of job-related experience, including substantial medical strategy and medical affairs leadership experience in the US.
• Experience building and maintaining KOL networks in the US and Canada.
• Experience partnering across R&D, Commercial, Medical, Safety, and Regulatory functions in complex matrix organizations.
• Experience deploying digital enablers in Medical Affairs, with strong knowledge of the healthcare landscape and healthcare policy.
• Significant people leadership, stakeholder influence, strategic thinking, business acumen, integrity, and patient orientation.

• Ph.D. qualification and scientific publications.
• Experience with AI, advanced analytics, integrated care models, and Real-World Evidence strategies.
