Node.js Back-End Engineer

What you will do

• Build and maintain secure backend APIs with TypeScript and Node.js.
• Contribute to AWS cloud infrastructure, infrastructure-as-code, and CI/CD automation.
• Investigate, debug, and resolve backend issues while growing technical ownership.
• Write tests, participate in code reviews, and apply OWASP security practices.
• Use AI tools such as Claude and Codex in daily development, reviews, and coding workflows.
• Collaborate with senior engineers, frontend engineers, and DevOps colleagues in autonomous multidisciplinary teams.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience with TypeScript and Node.js.
• Experience building REST or GraphQL APIs and working with relational or NoSQL databases.
• Familiarity with Docker and some experience with a cloud platform, ideally AWS.
• Basic understanding of authentication concepts, including OAuth and OpenID Connect.
• Awareness of OWASP security practices, testing, CI/CD, infrastructure-as-code, and debugging.
• Fluent English communication, strong collaboration skills, and willingness to learn and grow toward greater ownership.

Nice to have

• Exposure to Kubernetes.
• Experience or interest in messaging systems such as SQS, SNS, RabbitMQ, or Kafka.
