Senior Product Manager - Core Platform

Location: Anywhere in Germany; based in or open to regular travel to the Barcelona or Frankfurt offices. Hybrid working is expected, with the option to work from anywhere for up to 3 months per year. Candidates should be open to relocating to Spain or Germany and able to commute to the Barcelona or Frankfurt office a couple of times per week if needed.

Salary: €75,000–€85,000 annually, with some flexibility based on experience and performance.

What you will do

• Define the core platform vision, data ecosystem, and strategic product roadmap.
• Lead continuous discovery with business stakeholders, clients, IT teams, and InfoSec teams.
• Develop and test hypotheses, prototypes, and architectural documentation for platform, security, and data solutions.
• Guide product delivery from concept through adoption while balancing customer value, feasibility, usability, and business priorities.
• Coordinate Core Platform and Data teams and align platform-application interfaces with product requirements.
• Use platform telemetry and KPIs to monitor performance, feature adoption, technical debt, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• 7+ years of product management experience, preferably in B2B SaaS, platform, or data-focused roles.
• Experience delivering scalable core platform or data products in cross-functional environments.
• Technical collaboration experience with Engineering, Data, and DevOps teams, including knowledge of platform architecture, security, access management, APIs, and data workflows.
• Familiarity with product discovery, customer interviews, prototyping, and MVP testing.
• Strong analytical, communication, and collaboration skills, including the ability to explain technical topics to non-technical stakeholders.
• Comfortable working in English; EU citizenship or an EU work permit is required.

Nice to have

• Experience in regulated industries such as pharmaceuticals, healthcare, or compliance.
• Background with SaaS platform architectures, event systems, notification hubs, shared databases, or shared services.
