Senior Solutions Architect (Observability)

Location: Portland, Oregon, USA; flexible workforce model with fully remote, hybrid, and office-based workplaces. Regular customer office visits and on-site customer engagement are required. Visa sponsorship is not available, and candidates must be eligible to work in the United States.

What you will do

• Lead technical evaluations, proof-of-concept and proof-of-value engagements, and Solutions Architect workshops with sales and product teams.
• Advise customers on observability transformation, maturity, solution design, and best-practice implementation.
• Engage with customers on-site and remotely throughout sales cycles, providing technical consulting and solution guidance.
• Document current and desired observability states, identify capability gaps, and map business outcomes to technical solutions.
• Build relationships with key customer contacts and contribute to platform adoption, expansion, and large Net ACR deals.
• Develop reference architectures, technical blogs, conference presentations, and field resources.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
• 4+ years of professional development experience in Java, Python, Golang, or another programming language.
• Hands-on experience with OpenTelemetry, Prometheus, Grafana, and observability platforms such as hirify.global, Splunk, AppDynamics, Datadog, Dynatrace, or Grafana Labs.
• Understanding of SLI/SLO measurement approaches and experience with DevOps, SRE, and platform engineering service delivery.
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and serverless cloud-native technologies.
• Strong presentation, communication, business analysis, and customer advisory skills across executive and technical audiences.
