Fullstack AI Engineer

Location: Stockholm, Sweden; hybrid model with at least three days per week in the office

What you will do

• Turn agreed product opportunities and scope into working products and testable releases.
• Design, build, and maintain backend services, APIs, integrations, and data-handling components.
• Build frontend experiences with React or a comparable framework.
• Apply AI-assisted workflows across development, testing, validation, and product capabilities.
• Work with product managers and designers to use data, user insights, and hypotheses to validate outcomes.
• Improve performance, reliability, maintainability, deployment, and operation of production software.

Requirements

• Strong frontend or backend engineering expertise, including architecture trade-offs, automated testing, debugging, and production monitoring.
• Hands-on fullstack experience with React or a comparable frontend framework and Node.js with JavaScript or TypeScript.
• Experience building APIs, integrations, data-handling components, and complete products across the stack.
• Experience with advanced AI-native workflows, such as agent-based or spec-driven development, including evaluating results and taking responsibility for production software.
• Experience working in a cross-functional product organisation with product managers and designers, using data and user insights to validate hypotheses.

• Backend development with Rust or Python.
• AWS and distributed, event-driven, or serverless systems.
• Automated delivery pipelines and infrastructure as code.
• Mobile development, experimentation tooling, or user-experience metric optimisation.
• Integration of AI/ML products and use of user feedback signals.
