Testing Engineer & Test Supervisor - Passive Safety (Automotive)

Location: Tarragona, Spain; on-site laboratory role. Morning and afternoon shifts may apply depending on the week.

What you will do

• Develop into either a Crash Test Engineer or Test Supervisor through a structured training plan, depending on laboratory workload.
• Maintain knowledge of applicable crash-testing protocols, standards, regulations, and procedures.
• Prepare vehicle or test-sample checklists, monitor preparation activities, and resolve issues before testing.
• Supervise test execution, post-crash activities, regulatory compliance, and customer-specific requirements.
• Plan resources and schedules, coordinate positioning, instrumentation, photography, track technicians, and support personnel.
• Review and document results, prepare technical reports, manage risks and deviations, and improve testing processes.

Requirements

• Engineering degree, preferably in Mechanical or Electronics Engineering.
• Automotive industry experience is an advantage.
• Medium to high English level is mandatory.
• Strong communication, relationship-building, assertiveness, flexibility, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to prioritize multiple activities, coordinate teams, and work with stakeholders at different hierarchical levels.
• Interest in working in an international, multicultural environment.

Nice to have

• Experience in the automotive industry.
• Knowledge of an additional language.
