Contract Program Manager (Defense)

Location: Shalimar, Florida, United States; onsite role. U.S. citizenship and an active Secret clearance are required.

What you will do

• Lead day-to-day personnel and technical management for TAS 96 Test Wing and Tenants subcontracts.
• Manage contract scope, compliance, cost, schedule, performance, budgets, resources, and customer requirements.
• Coordinate test and evaluation, facilities maintenance, test engineering, scientific and technical services, and special studies.
• Identify program risks, develop mitigation strategies, and escalate issues when needed.
• Build relationships with government customers, prime and subcontractor leadership, hirify.global executives, and internal functions.
• Develop growth strategies, process improvements, and business development recommendations.

Requirements

• U.S. citizenship and an active Secret clearance.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent and at least 15 years of experience, including at least 10 years in program management.
• At least eight years of U.S. Army supply chain management experience, including relevant experience within the past five years.
• At least eight years in business process optimization, strategic sourcing, supplier and subcontractor management, financial and cost control, field support, or readiness management.
• Experience as a deputy or assistant program manager on a large-scale defense contract, including management of Government Furnished Equipment and Contractor Acquired Property.
• Knowledge of DoD acquisition, logistics, and sustainment processes, Microsoft Office, and SharePoint; strong risk management and problem-solving skills.

Nice to have

• Active PMP or DAWIA Level III / Practitioner certification in Program Management.
• Experience leading multifunctional teams of engineers, technicians, logisticians, and other specialists.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 and quality management practices.
• Ability to analyze complex data for reporting and decision-making.
