IT Workshop Technician (IT Hardware)

Location: Full-time onsite at the Shirebrook HQ, Meadow Lane, Mansfield, UK. Monday to Friday on a rotational 8am–5pm and 9am–6pm shift pattern, with weekend work once every four weeks.

What you will do

• Provide IT hardware support through ticket systems and record detailed issue information.
• Build, repair, update, and maintain IT hardware to support uptime and availability.
• Manage the company asset register and the hardware lifecycle from receipt through disposal.
• Prepare and deliver hardware for implementations in collaboration with broader IT teams.
• Write and maintain technical documentation.
• Own end-user tickets through to resolution.

Requirements

• Passion for developing a career in IT and a solution-oriented mindset.
• Good knowledge of IT hardware.
• Experience with Windows desktops and servers.
• Availability for full-time onsite work at the Shirebrook HQ and rotational weekend shifts.

Nice to have

• Formal experience repairing and testing IT hardware.
• Knowledge of Cisco networking hardware.
• Experience in an IT support or configuration role.
