Cell Manager - Sub Assembly (Gas Turbine Manufacturing)

Location: Lincoln, United Kingdom; onsite manufacturing role.

What you will do

• Lead and develop the Sub Assembly team, establishing clear expectations and a culture focused on safety, quality, and operational performance.
• Manage daily sub-assembly operations, ensuring schedule adherence and support for customer delivery requirements.
• Establish the Sub Assembly area as a standalone operation with clear accountability, efficient workflows, and measurable performance improvement.
• Coordinate labour, tooling, equipment, and materials to maximize productivity and minimize disruption.
• Drive Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, waste reduction, and throughput improvement initiatives.
• Investigate root causes and implement corrective actions for quality, safety, and operational issues while maintaining engineering and EHS compliance.

Requirements

• Leadership experience in a manufacturing, assembly, or precision engineering environment.
• Experience managing and coaching skilled manufacturing or assembly teams.
• Experience managing operations against Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost KPIs.
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, continuous improvement, Kaizen, waste reduction, and root cause analysis.
• Ability to collaborate with Manufacturing Engineering, Planning, Quality, and Production functions.
• Strong focus on safety, operational discipline, workmanship, and compliance.
